Apply the Product Master project nature to an existing project

Project natures allow a plug-in to tag a project as a specific project. For example, the Java™ development tools use a Java nature to add Java specific behavior to projects.

The different facets that are connected to a IBM® Product Master project is associated with the Product Master project nature. The project nature can be applied to a blank or simple project, which results in a Product Master project. The project nature can also be applied to existing projects to use the script editor behavior on those projects.

For example, if you have a Java project that has .java files and compiled .class files, you maintain .wpcs files within the same project and have access to the Product Master editor capabilities and file checking. You can add the Product Master project nature to the Java project.
