Unable to change to remote directory error

Product Master tried to log in to a target FTP server and failed.

Symptoms

If Product Master tried to log in to a target FTP server and failed to find the specified directory, an error occurs, "Unable to change to remote directory.".

Causes

There are a couple of reasons for this error:
  • The target FTP address is not accessible from the Product Master server.
  • The file name might be wrong.

Resolving the problem

Check for capitalization and spelling errors. From the Product Master server, try to FTP directly to the target server and verify the file transfer.
