Data model
A default data model for Global Data Synchronization is provided with Product Master.
The data model for Supply Side and Demand side adheres to the latest available specifications by
1WorldSync. The data model acts as a quick starter for product information sharing through data
pool. The current supported specifications are:
- 1WorldSync v8.11 XML on Supply Side.
- GDSN BMS v3.1.5 XML on Demand Side.
These default data models consists of the following:
- Specs that contain attribute as defined by corresponding specifications. The specs might be Primary, Secondary, Lookup, and so on.
- Lookup tables attached to spec attributes containing valid lists (lookup table content) pre-defined by specifications.
- Data model to help with messaging choreography.
- Attribute collections that users use to view spec attributes in the GDS user interface.
- GDS core working catalogs that are attached to Primary specs defining core trade item attributes.
- Hierarchies, such as
GPC_Hierarchy
, populated with sample content. - Workflows as required by GDS processes within the product component.
- Scripts as required by various GDS features.
- Default access control groups that are defined on privileges that are needed for GDS functions.
This default data model is provided in English only because attribute specifications and their valid values are predefined by GDSN and extended by data pool in English.
