Create a local queue

Use the New Local Queue wizard to create a new local queue.

1. In the MQ Explorer - Navigator pane, right-click the Queue Managers > bcg.queue.manager > Queues folder.
2. Select New > Local Queues...
   The New Local Queue wizard displays.
3. Enter or select these values in the Change properties window and then click Next:
   • Queue name: MyQueue
   • Queue type: Local
   • Put messages: Allowed
   • Get messages: Allowed
   • Default priority: 0
   • Default persistence: Not persistent
   • Scope: Queue
   • Usage: Normal
