Viewing your company deployment status

During the deployment process, you can view your export and import debug log files to view the status of the import operation. The debug log files display the completion percentage of the process and include details of any errors that are encountered.

Before you begin

Before you can view your company deployment status, you must:
  • Ensure that the profiling_scheduled_jobs parameter is set to full in the common.properties file.
  • Run an export or import before viewing your deployment progress in the debug log file.

Procedure

  1. Open the Job Console in the user interface: Design manager > Scheduler > Jobs Console.
  2. Click Schedule status information in the Action column to check the status of the job.
  3. Click Schedule status information in the Job Description column to display the Schedule Run Progress Chart window.
  4. Click Debug Report over the Schedule Status Information window to display the debug log.

What to do next

When you deploy a company, you must complete some post deployment tasks to ensure that your company data model was deployed successfully.
  • If the Product Master source instance contains modified default objects, manually modify those default objects in the target instance.
  • Modify your scripts in the source instance to make them compatible to the target instance. If your source instance is an older release version, then after you import your document store, you need to modify all scripts in the target instance.
