Editing or creating a view

Using the Views console, you can edit an existing view or create a new view.

About this task

To edit an existing view or create a new view, proceed as follows.

• To edit an existing view, click <view name> link. The Edit view pop-up window opens.
• To create a new view, click Create view. The Create view pop-up window opens.

1. In the Create view or Edit view pop-up window, add or edit the following.

   View name	Displays name of the view.
   Container type	Select container type that can be either a catalog or hierarchy.
   Container name	Select container name that can be either a catalog or hierarchy depending on your selection in the Container type field.
   Single edit	Select attribute collections from the left pane, and click . If you specify container name as catalog, all the listed tabs are displayed. For container type as hierarchy, only Single edit and Multi edit tabs are displayed.

2. Click Save.
