Editing or creating a spec map
Using the spec map console, you can edit an existing spec map or create a new spec map.
About this task
- To edit an existing spec map, click <spec map name>link.
- To create a new spec map, click Create spec map.
Procedure

In the Spec map properties section, add or view the following.
Name Enter the name of the spec map. Type Click and select the type of spec mapping. - Catalog spec to Destination spec
- Catalog to Catalog
- Catalog to Destination spec
- File spec to Catalog
- File spec to Catalog spec
Destination spec Depending on the type you specify in the Type column, select and specify the following for the spec mapping. - Destination spec
- Catalog destination
if you want to view or edit the selected spec. Click
to create a spec or catalog. Source spec Depending on the type you specify in the Type column, select and specify the following for the spec mapping. - Source spec
- Catalog source
if you want to view or edit the selected spec. Click
to create a spec or catalog. -
In the Mapping properties section, select any of the following filters: Unmapped, Mapped, or All specs. You can then add or edit the following.
Destination attribute Displays a list of destination attributes to which you can map a spec. Source attribute Double-click the cell to make it editable, and select a source spec to map from the list of specs in the right pane. You can also use the type-ahead feature to search for a source spec. Enter the first 3 characters of a source spec name to display the source specs. 
Click to build a custom expression by using the Scriptlet editor pop-up window. Select spec attributes to build your custom expression. Click Populate Destination node to populate the destination node attribute with your custom expression.
Search Enter a keyword to search a spec from the list of specs in the right pane. - Click Save.
