Restrictions for propagating access control groups
Use the access control group propagation restrictions to ensure that your data model is propagated successfully.
Access control groups reference other entities such as roles within their definitions. When you propagate any type of access control group addition or change that contains entity references, the entities are not automatically propagated and you must ensure that any necessary extensions changes are propagated.
Propagating users is not supported when the source or the target instance, either, uses an LDAP user repository.
The following access control group
changes are propagated automatically:
- Adding an access control group
- Modifying an access control group
The following access control group changes must be manually
propagated:
- Renaming an access control group
- Deleting an access control group
