Compound attributes

A compound attribute is an attribute that consists of more than one atomic attribute through an object join or member terminals that use dot notation.

Only two leading objects are defined in the query language. All objects in the IBM® Product Master data model can be used as intermediate and tailing objects in a join:
  • item: catalog, category, location, logentry, step
  • category: hierarchy, item, category, spec, step, parent, child, logentry
  • parent: hierarchy, item, category, spec, step, parent, child
  • child: hierarchy, item, category, spec, step, parent, child
  • location: hierarchy, item, category, spec, step, parent, child
  • spec: none
  • step: none
  • catalog: none
  • hierarchy: none
  • logentry: log
