Develop Java API-based stand-alone applications

Java™ API-based stand-alone applications are Java classes with a main() method and can be run from command line or within an IDE like Rational® Software Architect.

Important: Stand-alone Java API programs are not supported but this mode can be used to develop test programs before they are deployed as extension points or are used within web services.
