Defining routing
When an entry is moved from one step to another through a workflow, that entry is following a path of logical steps called routing. Routing refers to the path that an entry follows within steps of a workflow.
Before you begin
Procedure
- Click Data Model Manager > Workflows > New Workflow. The New Workflow and Workflow Steps tables display.
- Create a customized step.
- Across from the Initial step, click the + button
to select the first step in your workflow. Under the Name column, all of your workflow steps are listed. When you click the + button, a window displays the possible exit values and the steps in your workflow.
- Click the + button to identify the next step for every step that you created in your workflow.
- Click the disk icon to save your routing of steps within the workflow.
