Application settings

The Application settings tab enables you to configure free text search, digital asset management, chatbot, table display settings, home page widget and panel titles, and themes.

The Application settings tab contains the following settings.
Table 1. Themes
Choose theme Select an appropriate theme from the drop-down list. You can select between Default, Modern, and user-created custom themes.

Table 2. Free text search
Enable Free text search Select to enable the Free text search feature.
Company name Displays the company name.
User ID Specify the username.
Important: If you are enabling theFree text search feature for a company where Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) Single Sign-on (SSO) is enabled, enter the credentials of the PIM database user (preferably who has Full Admin persona).
Password Specify the password.
Verify Click to verify the user credentials that are entered in the User ID and Password fields.
Full indexing schedule Specify the full indexing schedule. The default value is MM-DD-YYYY HH:MM.
Remember: If the first full indexing schedule is successful, the next schedule deletes all the existing index data.
Note: The DAM Settings cannot be enabled by a user already present in the MongoDB repository.
Table 3. Export checked out entries
Enable export of checked out entries Select to allow checked out entries to be exported to the Microsoft Excel workbook. For more information, see Export and Import feature.

Only Admin Full Admin, and Solution Developer roles can enable this feature on company level for all the users.

Table 4. Data survivorship
Data survivorship Select to enable the feature. For more information, see Data survivorship feature.

Only Admin Full Admin, and Solution Developer roles can enable this feature on company level for all the users.

Table 5. Chatbot
Enable chatbot Select to enable the feature. Once you save the page, you see in the lower-right corner of the GUI. For more information, see Creating an assistant on the IBM Watson® Assistant site.
Table 6. Polling for item status check
Choose polling time Select an appropriate polling time interval, in milliseconds from the drop-down list for checking the item status during checkout and edit.
Table 7. Load error panel
Load error panel If the value is true, specifies that for any error in the single-edit page, the error panel gets loaded automatically.
Table 8. Company attributes
Available locales Displays lists of available locales. Select locales that you want available for the company you have logged in to.

Click Show selected to display only the selected locales.

Available currencies Displays lists of available currencies. Select the currencies that you want available for the company you have logged in to.

Click Show selected to display only the selected currencies.
