Creating a category

You can create a category within a category hierarchy. A category hierarchy is a container with a hierarchical structure.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have a catalog with a hierarchy already created. You should not create a category with the name Unassigned.

About this task

While adding a new category, or cloning a category, the parents of this category will be displayed in the Add categories section. Once the new category is saved, the parent categories will be displayed in the Parent categories section.
