User Console

The User Console manages your users. You can view user privileges, enable or disable users, and edit profile information from the User Console.

The User Console displays the users as rows in a table. To customize the columns that are included in the table, click Customize button in the upper right corner of the table to display the Properties section. Click directly on the column header to sort through that particular column. To search for specific users and display only those rows that match your search criteria, click Filter button at the top of the table.

You can view user access and enable or disable users from the User Console. The current user access is displayed in each row of the table by displaying a Enabled if the user is enabled or an Disabled if the user is disabled. If a user is an administrator, an asterisk Administrator is displayed to the right of the User name column.

If a user is an LDAP user, the Enabled is displayed in the LDAP user column and the LDAP URL and Entry DN columns are populated. If the user in not an LDAP user, an Disabled is displayed in the LDAP user column.

To enable a IBM® Product Master user, click the check box in the Select column next to the user, and then click Enabled at the top of the User Console. To disable a user, click the check box in the Select column next to the user, and then click Disabled at the top of the User Console.

You can also edit a users profile information from the User Console. To edit a profile, click the name of the user in the User name column.
