Document Store

The Document Store is a repository of all incoming and outgoing files, including: import scripts, reports, and specs. You can use the Document Store to view details, control access, or delete documents.

The Document Store saves the content in a hierarchical structure just like the folders and files on the local file system. To customize the columns that are included in the table, click Filter button in the upper right corner of the table to display the Properties section. Click directly on the column header to sort through that particular column.

The Document Store displays a list of folders and sub-folders that contain categorized documents. The Document Store has some pre-existing files and folders. During the execution of scripts the documents are stored in the Document Store. For export purpose, the product generates a compressed file which is also stored in the Document Store.

The metadata of the documents is stored in the database, however, the real files can be stored in the database (as a BLOB) or on the local file system.

On each leaf node of the Document Store, you can perform these:
View contents
To view the contents of a file, click on the file to open a popup window. If the file is a text document, the content appears in the popup window, otherwise browser prompts you to either save the file or open it with the respective application.
View metadata
To view audit information of a document, click View next to the document.
Delete document
To delete a document, click Delete next to the document.
Set security restrictions
To update the access control of any document, click Document Access Control next to the document.
Restriction: All file names that are uploaded to the document store cannot contain the following special characters: !@$%^&()=+.
