Using Catalog console

Access the Catalog console from the left pane by Design manager > Catalogs.

Tasks

You can perform following tasks in the Catalog console page.
Refresh Click to refresh and reflect the updates that are done in the Catalog console page.
Compare versions Using this feature, you can compare different versions of the same catalog. Select a catalog, and click . The Compare versions | <catalog name> pop-up window opens. Select and specify the file versions that you want to compare in the Version fields, and click Compare. In the Description summary section, click the appropriate link to see more details of the comparison.
Note: The file in the Version 1 field should be always latest as compared to the file you select in the Version 2 field.
Filter
Click to filter a column by a value. In the Search field, enter the value, and click Apply. You can also filter Localized String attribute and String attribute in Grouping using this.

You can also sort the values in a column by ascending or descending order. Default value is ascending order. You can also click a column header to sort the values.

Rollback version Using this feature, you can rollback a catalog to an older version. Select a catalog, and click . The Rollback version | <catalog name> pop-up window opens. Select the version that you want to rollback to and click Rollback.
Import Select a catalog and click to navigate to the Job console > Import job page. The page displays all the import jobs for the selected catalog. You can select and run any of the listed job.
Export Select a catalog and click to navigate to the Job console > Export job page. The page displays all the export jobs for the selected catalog. You can select and run any of the listed job.
Delete Select a catalog, and click . The Delete confirmation pop-up window opens. To delete the catalog, click Yes.
On the right side of the page, click to filter the catalogs. In the Search field, enter the catalog name, and click Apply.
Sort Use the drop-down list to sort the catalog names by ascending or descending order. Default value is ascending order.
Create catalog Click to create a catalog. For more information, see Editing or creating a catalog.
Views console Click to navigate to the Views console. For more information, see Using Views console.
Current view column Displays the current specified view for a catalog. Double-click to select a different view.
