Selectively importing objects

You can use the Selective import window to selectively import objects into Product Master.

Used the Selective import window to specify objects that you want to import from an Product Master exported compressed file.

After you select the objects you want to import, Product Master performs a dependency verification check on all of the objects you specify before you create a new compressed file for import. The new import compressed file is created with the import_File_Namefile name, in the $TOP/public_html/suppliers/company_Name/envexpimp/Time_Stamp directory, where import_File_Name is the file name of the initial compressed file, company_Name is the name of your company, and Time_Stamp is a time stamp of when the file was created.

For importing exported compressed files from versions before Product Master, the Action tag and specified action mode are not available so all object imports use the default action mode: CREATE_OR_UPDATE.
