Setting up WebSphere Application Server

To enable SSO for Product Master, you must perform the following configuration steps for enabling the server’s SSO features.

Before you begin

Ensure that the LDAP repository is synchronized with the Product Master database.

Procedure

Proceed as follows to enable the administrative security for the WebSphere® Application Server.

  1. In a web browser, go to the URL for the WebSphere Admin Console.
  2. Expand Security, Global Security > Security Configuration Wizard.
  3. Select Enable application security & Enable administrative security > Next.
  4. Select Federated repositories > Next.
  5. Enter the administrative credentials, and click Next.
  6. Click Finish > Save.
  7. Restart the WebSphere Application Server.
