Creating a database

Set up a separate database for use with IBM® Product Master.

Create a database after you are certain that the installation and set up prerequisites are met.

Procedure

Create an Oracle database.

Important: Product Master uses AL32UTF8 character set. Therefore, the database character set must be set to AL32UTF8 and the national character set must be set to AL16UTF16 at the time you create the Product Master database.
