Restrictions for propagating collaboration areas
Use the collaboration area propagation restrictions to ensure that your data model is propagated successfully.
Collaboration areas reference other Product Master entities such as workflows within their definitions. When you propagate any type of collaboration area that contains entity references, the entities are not automatically propagated and you must manually ensure that any necessary entities are propagated.
- Adding a collaboration area

area is empty.
If you try to modify a collaboration area definition that is not empty, the import fails and you do not receive an error message to inform you of the failure.
- Deleting a collaboration area if the collaboration area is empty.
Deleting a collaboration area can be propagated only through deleting
import jobs through the in the user interface.
If you try to delete a collaboration area that is not empty, the import fails and you do not receive an error message to inform you of the failure.
Renaming collaboration areas is not supported.
