Activity costs
You can use the Activity costs page to define a standard cost to run an activity or a default cost for all activities.
On the Activity costs page, you can perform the following tasks:
Adding an activity cost

Open a project.

Go to Data & Settings > Cost Settings > Activity working time.

Click Add activity cost.

In the Add activity cost dialog, do the following steps:
a. In the Activity field, select the activity for which you want to add the cost.
b. In the Cost field, add the value.
c. In the Type field, select the type as Automatic, Manual, or Any.Tip:- If you don't want to differentiate between automatic and manual activities, select Any.
- If you want to specify a different cost for an automatic and manual activity, add two costs to an activity and mark one of them as Automatic and one of them as Manual.
- If you add two costs to an activity and mark one as Automatic and the other one as Any, the Any will be used for manual instances, and Automatic for robotic instances. And vice versa, if you mark one of the activities as Manual and the other one as Any, Any will be used for automatic instances, and Manual for manual instances.
d. In the End date field, define the date until which the specified cost must be applied to the activity (an activity standard cost might vary over time).

Click Add and apply your changes.
Editing an activity cost

Open a project.

Go to Data & Settings > Cost Settings > Activity working time.

Click Edit next to the activity cost that you want to edit.

In the Edit activity cost dialog, update the values.Note: In the Edit activity cost dialog, you can update only the Cost, Type, and End Date. You cannot change the activity.

Save and apply your changes.
Defining a default cost value for all activities

Open a project.

Go to Data & Settings > Cost Settings > Activity working time.

Click Edit next to the default activity cost.

In the Edit activity cost dialog, do the following steps:
a. In the Cost field, add the value.
b. In the Type field, select the type as Automatic, Manual, or Any.

Save and apply your changes.
Deleting an activity cost

Open a project.

Go to Data & Settings > Cost Settings > Activity working time.

Click Delete next to the activity cost that you want to delete.

Confirm that you want to delete this activity cost.

Save and apply your changes.
