Using Process Advisor

  1. To access Process Advisor assistant, click the button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
  2. In the chat, ask Process Advisor for specific statistics and explanations, ask it to add results to your dashboards, or ask it to create you a chart presenting your data.

For example, you can use the following prompts:

    Basic queries:

    • What is the monthly trend of a specific activity?
    • What is the most involved resource?
    • Show me my resources sorted by cost.

    Process analysis queries:

    • Can you analyze this process and tell me which areas might be potential bottlenecks or pain points?
    • What are the main inefficiencies in my process and how can I improve them?
    • Identify the activities that are causing the most delays and suggest improvements.
    • Compare my process performance against typical SLAs for this type of process.
Tip: If you are getting an error, make sure that your project is synced with Process Advisor. If you are using an older project that is not yet synced with Process Advisor (for example, if you had a project in a previous version of IBM Process Mining, and you upgrade to 2.1.0), go to Data & Settings > Data > Data source and click Visualize.
Important: If you ask a question to the Process Advisor immediately after clicking Visualize, you might get the error The server is not ready to answer. This usually happens because the Process Advisor is still ingesting all the data. The error should automatically resolve itself after a few minutes when the data ingestion is finished, and you can get back to using Process Advisor again.
