Cockpits
The Cockpits page is a dashboard control panel where you can view your processes and their related KPIs. You can see how your processes are performing and look at all their main statistics without any manual effort. Cockpits provide you with the visibility of the key processes, which gives you immediate access to the information needed in regards to faster decision-making.
Using the Cockpits page
To access the Cockpits page, go to Home page and in the Recent projects section, click Your cockpits.
Before you begin
You need to have a permission granted in order to edit the Cockpits page. For more information, see Permissions.
To get the best results from Cockpits, you can set some custom metric benchmarks. In order to set or change them, open your project and go to Data & Settings > KPIs. Setting your custom metric benchmarks allows you to get clearer and more advanced information from the Cockpits page. The benchmarks are used by the Cockpits page to evaluate the KPIs and show whether they can be optimized. You can only add numeric, boolean, and duration custom metrics (string and date are excluded).
Creating cockpits
To create a cockpit for a specific project, complete the following steps:
- On the Cockpits page, click Add cockpit.
- Select the organization of your project.

Analyzing cockpits
Each cockpit is related to a different project and has a distinct color. To select which processes to see, you can filter by organization, or find a specific project by typing its name in the search bar.
Each card inside a cockpit represents a different KPI. Cards can be divided into the following two types:
- Default cards Cards that are created automatically. They include case count, event count, distinct activities count, case cost, case lead time, completed case leadtime, case arrival rate, and automation ratio.
- Custom metrics cards Cards corresponding to custom metrics created in Data & Settings. You can only add numeric, boolean, duration and amount custom metrics (string and date are excluded).
At the end of a card, you can see a line of text. This is a comparison between the actual value returned by the process and the KPI threshold. You can set the thresholds by going to your project's Data and Settings > KPIs.
- Red
- The values are worse than the worst case scenario set in the threshold.
- Yellow
- The values are inside the limits.
- Blue
- The values are in line with the KPIs.
- Green
- The values are better than the threshold.
