Attribute statistics

You can use the Attribute statistics panel to visualize the process model based on the cases grouped by various attributes. IBM Process Mining obtains the attribute list based on the uploaded data source.

Important: The visible statistics are for attributes with a cardinality below the threshold. To set this threshold go to Data & Settings > Data > Attributes page.

Using the attribute statistics pane

In the Overall process section, you can identify the number of cases and events that are visualized in the process model.

The View details for cases by list indicates the column names that are mapped to parameters when you create the process-mining project.

To see attribute statistics, do the following steps:

  1. Open a project.
  2. To view the Attribute statistics panel, select Statistics icon from the taskbar.
  3. In the View details for cases by dropdown, select activity, resource, or role.
  4. Optional: Enter the specific value to group the variants.
You can sort your results by the following options in the Sort by dropdown:
Frequency
Displays the percentage and number of cases in which the activity or attribute occurs.
Average case lead time
Displays the average lead time of cases at which the activity or attribute occurs.
Note: The displayed list represents the activities that are grouped based on the selected attributes.
