Schedule source
In IBM Process Mining, you can create a data migration connection with one of the following cloud storage providers:
- IBM Cloud® Object Storage
- AWS S3
- Azure Blob Storage
You can create a connection to upload a file from IBM Cloud® Object Storage, AWS S3, and Azure Blob Storage in the following ways:
- Creating a project by using the Create a process-mining project wizard.
- By using the Schedule source menu in the Data & Settings > Data tab of the selected project.
- By using the Data source menu in the Data & Settings > Data tab of the selected project.
You can use event log and object tables to upload files from the cloud storage.

Tip: Schedule sources for object tables are automatically included in organization-level backups. After restoring an organization backup, you can re-trigger the schedule sources to repopulate object table data. This ensures that your data connections are preserved and can be used to reload data after restoration. For more information, see Understanding project and organization backups.
