Process selection

In the Process selection tab, you can select which projects to include in your multi-process project, in what order, and how to mark them with colors.

Important: The Process selection tab is only accessible in multi-process project. For more information, see Creating multi-process projects.

Adding projects to your multi-process project

You can add up to five projects to your multi-process project. To include or exclude the project, tick the checkbox corresponding to it. The projects are marked with the number of the order you picked them.

The order of processes should generally follow the temporal sequence of events across event logs. You should start with the process that contains events which occur earliest in the overall workflow and proceed with the other processes based on the expected business use case.

Marking your projects with color

Your projects should have different colors so that you can visually identify and distinguish between different eventlog positions easily. Setting appropriate colors is important to avoid confusion and assure consistency across your projects.

By default, the projects inside a multi-project are marked by their order:
  • project 1: purple
  • project 2: orange
  • project 3: cyan
  • project 4: teal
  • project 5: yellow

To change the colors of your projects, go to Data & Settings > Process selection, click the color, and select a new one.

Click Reset to default to go back to the original color settings.
