End activities for a project

End activities are detected automatically in IBM Process Mining. However, you can manually add new end activities or change the automatically detected ones. Specify the actual end activity, as it helps IBM Process Mining to recognize the running cases of the project, which makes the analysis more accurate.

Adding an end activity

  1. Open a project.
  2. Go to Data & Settings > End activities.
  3. Click Add end activity.
  4. Select an activity that you want to set as the end activity.
  5. Set the End activity included toggle to on.
  6. Click Add and Apply.

Editing end activities

  1. Open a project.
  2. Go to Data & Settings > End activities.
  3. Set the End activity included toggle to on or off depending on whether you want IBM Process Mining to consider the activity as an end activity.
  4. Click Apply.

Deleting an end activity

  1. Open a project.
  2. Go to Data & Settings > End activities.
  3. Click the Delete button corresponding to the activity you want to delete.
  4. Click Apply.
