Data sources

In the application, you can include a data source in the following ways:

• Using the Create a process-mining project wizard. For more information, see Create a process-mining project.
• Using the Data source section in the Data & Settings > Data > Data Source page.

You can manage event log by using one of the following methods:

• Uploading a data source from local device or network.
• Uploading a simulated data source from BPMN. For more information, see Creating a Process Mining project.
• Uploading a data source from a cloud storage.

You can manage object tables by using one of the following methods:

• Creating a new object.
• Appending to an existing object by uploading a data source from local device or network.
• Retrieving an existing object.

You can also do the following actions in the Data source section:

• Mapping the data to the appropriate column headings.
• Visualizing the process with the updated or modified data source.

Only the owner of the project can delete data in IBM Process Mining.
