Assessing the benefits

The Benefits tab in the investigative report provides you with estimates of the performance gains in a scenario where you reduce the identified nonconforming activities in the process. You can use the Impact threshold (%) setting in Report settings to set the minimum threshold value with which the Prescriptive Process Mining estimates the impact of an activity. For example, if you set Impact threshold (%) at 50%, the Benefits tab lists the performance gains of the process if you reduce the nonconforming activity by 50%.

The benefits are provided in terms of the KPIs, such as the reduction in average process duration and average process cost.
