Viewing recent activities

The Recent activities page provides a searchable audit log of activities. The audit log cross-list displays information such as User, Type, Timestamp, and Message for all user and administrator IBM Process Mining activities.

Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.3, you can download the audit log as a .csv file. To download the audit log, click Download.

Types of audit events

Recent activities shows the types of activities the log audit records. The following groups of activities are logged:

  • User sessions management events

User sessions management events consist of the following events: user login and logout and authentication error.

  • Features accessed

Features accessed consists of the features a user has accessed in a specific session.

  • Project and organization management

Project and organization management consists of the following events: creation and removal of project items, projects and organizations, project and organization changes, and project imports and exports.

Failed login attempts and unauthorized action attempts

The Recent activities audit log does not track failed login attempts, but the application automatically blocks a user after three failed attempts. Three is a default number, which you can change in Administration > Tenant > Tenant details. However, failed login attempts and attempts to perform unauthorized operations (for example, creating a project without having the permissions to do so) are logged in the application logs. For more information, see Audit log and application logs.
