Validating the installation

After installing the IBM Process Mining application, you can validate the installation by logging in to IBM Process Mining and accessing the Administration page to configure tenants and to create users. For more information, see the following topics:

Accessing IBM Process Mining in a traditional environment

Use the http://<hostname>/signin URL to access the Login page of IBM Process Mining that is hosted in a traditional environment. <hostname> is the configured domain name of the IBM Process Mining application. You can log in to the application as a System Administrator by using the following credentials in the Login page of IBM Process Mining:

  • Username: maintenance.admin
  • Password: pmAdmin$1

You must change your primary password after you login for the first time. For more information about changing your primary password, see Changing the primary password.

If you enabled the two-factor authentication, you must enter the code that you receive in the Authenticator application in the Verification code field in the Log in page of IBM Process Mining before logging in. For more information about two-factor authentication, see Enable two-factor authentication.

Application administration

To access the Administration page, click the Administration icon in the navigation pane. For more information about using the Administration page, see Administration.

Tenant configuration

On the Administration page, you must configure Tenants for your organization. For more information about configuring Tenants, see Tenants.

For the security of the IBM Process Mining application, create a multi-tenant administrator account. Then, disable the default account (maintenance.admin) used for the first installation.

Creating Users or Groups

You can create a User or a Group in the Administration page. For more information on creating a User, see Users. For more information about creating a Group, see Groups.

You must change their primary password after their first login. For more information about changing the primary password, see Changing the primary password.
