Table joins
In the Table joins tab, you can define the relationship between object tables and the event log, or between different object tables. By doing that, you connect the columns of different sources into one source that IBM Process Mining analyzes.

Accessing table joins
You can access table joins in the following ways:
- From the organization level:
- Go to Projects.
- Click the three dots next to your organization name.
- Click Table joins.
- From a project:
- Open a project.
- Go to Data & Settings > Table joins.
Creating table joins
To join tables, complete the following steps:
- Select two tables.
- Click Join tables.
- Select the columns you want to join.
Selected columns must have the same data type. All columns that belong to at least one primary key must be joined.
- If you have more than one primary key in a data source, you must join all the fields marked as primary keys: a. Click Add another join condition. b. Select another column that is marked as the primary key and join it with a column from the other source. c. Repeat with all your primary key columns.
- Click Save.
When you establish a relationship between two object tables, the relationship remains, even if they are retrieved into another project so that you do not have to re-create joins in every project.
Deleting table joins
To delete the join between tables, complete the following steps:
- Click the x button next to the column name which join you want to delete.
- Confirm that you want to delete the join.
- Click Apply.
Removing table joins will affect the object table filters.
Including other eventlogs from the organization
You can include an eventlog from a different process in your tables. You can then use the second eventlog in widgets and queries in Analytics.
The process whose eventlog you want to include must belong to the same organization. The two eventlogs must already be associated with the same object tables. In other words, you must first establish a path between the eventlogs by linking them with an object table.
To include an eventlog from a different process, complete the following steps:
- Open a project.
- Go to Data & Settings > Table joins.
- Click Include other organization eventlogs.
- Select the eventlogs you want to include.
