Data sources

In the application, you can include a data source in the following ways:

• Using the Create a process-mining project wizard.
  For more information, see Create a process-mining project.
• Using the Data source section in the Data & Settings > Data > Data Source page.

You can use the Data source section to do the following actions:

• Manage event log by using one of the following methods:
  • Upload a data source from local device or network.
    
  • Upload a simulated data source.
    For more information, see Simulation.
  • Upload a data source from a cloud storage.
• Manage object tables by using one of the following methods:
  • Create a new object.
  • Append to an existing object by uploading a data source from local device or network.
  • Retrieve and existing object.
• Map the data to the appropriate column headings.
• Visualize the process with the updated or modified data source.

Only the owner of the project can delete data in IBM Process Mining.
