Exploring the View options pane
You can use the View options pane in the Model page for the following tasks:
- Modifying the view of the model
- Viewing the list of active filters
- Viewing the list of Ignored activities
- Analyzing the activity and relation complexity of the process model
- Highlighting the activities performed by each role
The following figure illustrates the View options pane of the Model page.
Modifying the view of the model
You can use the Model View to modify the view of the process model. The Model view section contains the following options:
- KPI palette: Use this option to switch the KPI palette on or off.
This toggle is available only if you choose the view mode as 'Duration'. In addition, KPI values influence the look of the activities and edges in the window. To view values that are represented in the process model, you can use the legend.
- Landscape orientation: Use this option to change the orientation of the process model to horizontal or vertical.
Viewing the list of active filters
The Active filters section is enabled only if at least one filter is applied to the process model. In the Active filters section, you can perform following actions:
- To view or hide the complete list of active filters, expand or collapse the Active filters section.
- To delete an active filter, click the close button corresponding to the required filter.
Viewing the list of Ignored activities
The Ignored activities section is enabled only if at least one activity is ignored in the process model.
The list of Ignored activities includes all selected activities to ignore in the process model. For more information on ignored activities, see the Ignore activity section.
Analyzing the activity and relation complexity of the process model
Use the Model details section to choose the level of detail of the process model. Perform one or both of the following actions:
- To select the percentage of visible activities, use the activity complexity slider. When you select a low percentage, the process model displays only the most frequent activities.
- To increase the percentage of relations between the activities, use the relation complexity slider. When you increase this percentage, the process model displays the less frequent paths and provides a detailed vision of the process.
Highlighting the activities performed by each role
To highlight the activities for a role in the Highlight activities section of the View options pane, select the required role from the list. The process model displays the activities that the selected role performs.
