Process apps

A process app is a set of features that helps you to successfully analyze a specific use case. For example, process apps can automate the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of the data of a specific process scenario.

There are two types of process apps in IBM Process Mining:

Custom process apps
Prebuilt process apps

Prerequisites

Before you use process apps, complete the following actions:

Set up your IBM Process Mining instance for process apps in a traditional environment. For more information, see Basic setup.
Ensure you have the mandatory permissions to access and create process apps that a System Administrator must assign to you. For more information, see Process app permissions.

Accessing the Process Apps page

To go to the Process Apps page, click the Start from a process application tile on the Home page.
