Activating the connection
By default, the created schedule source connection is displayed in the inactive status. You need to activate the connection to fetch the data from both IBM Cloud® Object Storage and AWS S3.
To do so, on the Schedule source page, set the toggle button to Active.
Fetching data through the connection
The schedule source connection that is created in IBM Process Mining automatically fetches data at the time interval specified when you create the connection. You can also fetch data whenever it is required. To do so, click the Fetch data now button on the Schedule source page.
ⓘ Note: In the figure, imported indicates the total number of files that are fetched by the application and discarded indicates the total number of files that do not match the data source of
the process. In the following figure, both the files fetched by the application are discarded as it does not match with the data source present in the selected process. Hence, it is advisable to verify the .csv
file before importing
the files.
Analyzing the data fetched through the connection
After fetching the data through the schedule source connection, IBM Process Mining automatically analyzes and visualizes the data in the process. The following figure illustrates how the fetched data is represented on the Data source page.
