Backup and History
In IBM Process Mining, you can save the current state of your process by creating a new backup and maintain the history of each backup with the current and past versions.

Creating a backup
You can use the following steps to manage backup:

In the left pane of the Manage page, click Backup & History.

In the Saved backups section, click Create new backup.

In the Name box of the Create new backup dialog box, type a name for the backup, and then ensure that the checkboxes corresponding to the required fields are selected, and then click Create backup.

Expand the created backup to view the list of files included in the backup.
Uploading a backup
You can use the following steps to upload a backup from the device:

In the left pane of the Manage page, click Backup & History.

In the Saved backups section, click Upload new backup.

In the window that appears, select the required backup file, and then click Open.

The uploaded backup appears in the Saved backups section.
Applying a backup
You can use the following steps to apply a backup:

In the left pane of the Manage page, click Backup & History.

In the Saved backups section, click Apply backup corresponding to the backup you want to apply.

The message, Backup applied, appears to indicate that the backup is successfully applied to the process.
ⓘ Note: When you apply backups to a process, it creates new copies of analytics dashboards in the project instead of overwriting the existing dashboards.
Downloading a backup
You can use the following steps to download a backup:

In the left pane of the Manage page, click Backup & History.

In the Saved backups section, click
, and then click Download.
Note: You can click Delete to delete the selected backup.

The message, Backup downloaded indicates that the backup is downloaded and the downloaded files appears at the lower left of the window.
Maintaining history
The History section of the Manage page displays the history of each backup with the current and past versions. You can expand each activity or attribute to view the details of each backup.
To roll back an activity or attribute to a previous version, click Rollback corresponding to the date you want to roll back to.
