Viewing comparison results
You can view the details of a comparison in the following sections in the Compare page:
Process details
The following figure illustrates the contents of the Process details section.
The Process details section provides an outcome of the comparison of both the elements in sections A and B, based on the following parameters:
- Number of cases
- Average lead time for each case
- Average cost of each case
- Total case cost
It also allows you to choose the measure as Median or Average.
Custom metrics
The Custom metrics section provides the statistics of the custom metrics related to the processes that are compared. The statistics are classified into categories of the custom metrics.
Important: The statistics shows only the custom metrics result
with the Numeric
data type.
Case duration and count
The following figure illustrates the contents of the Case duration and count section.
You can get the following information from the graph:
- The Blue line indicates the average remaining duration of active cases in the selected date for A.
- The Purple line indicates the average remaining duration of active cases in the selected date for B.
- The area that is highlighted in blue indicates the number of active cases in the selected date for A.
- You can use the
icon to visualize the compared data at the required instance on the graph.
Activity duration
The following figure illustrates the contents of the Activity duration section.
On the Compare page, you can view the details of the activity duration based on both Performance and KPI.
You can further define the data by using the type of measure, Average or Median.
Additionally, you can select any one of the following options in the Sort by list:
- Alphabetically: Sorts the displayed list of activities in the alphabetical order.
- By execution: Sorts the displayed list of activities based on it occurrence.
From the Activity duration graph, you can derive the data that is related to Wait time, Service time, and Frequency of the activities.
You can use the KPI view to compare the performance of the activities with KPIs in an aggregated and normalized view, based on previously defined KPI settings.
Note: You can change the KPI Settings directly by clicking the Edit activity KPIs button.
Derived model
The following figure illustrates the contents of the Derived model section.
This section highlights the differences between the two models and prov a graphic representation.
You can perform a comparative analysis for the processes, A and B, based on the following parameters:
- Frequency
- Rework
- Duration (Average, Median, Maximum, Minimum, and Weighted)
- Cost
This section also allows you to select the process you want to visualize:
- A and B: The model visualizes the difference between the values of A and B. The analysis highlights the activities and transitions in which the difference is greater.
- A: The model visualizes only the values of A.
- B: The model visualizes Only the values of B.
