Comparing two different filter templates of the same or different process
You can use the Compare page to compare two filter templates. To do so, you must create at least one filter template for the process.

Understanding the Compare page elements
Before you compare two filters or processes, you must understand the interface of the Compare page.
The following figure illustrates the elements of the Compare page. The highlighted elements are described in the table that follows.
Elements | Description |

1 | The parameters in the A section indicate the current opened process. You can use the Filter template box to select a filter template created for the process. You can also use Add new filter to add filters to the process. Note that this filter does not impact the process as a whole and it is used only for the comparison feature. |
2 | The parameters in the B section can indicate the current opened process or a different process. You can use the Filter template box to select a filter template of the current process or a different process. You can use Add new filter to add filters. |
3 | You can use the Clear comparison button to clear the selections done in both sections, A, and B. |
4 | After selecting the required templates and processes, you can use the Compare process button to start the comparison. |
Note:
- For both the sections, A, and B, you can do one or more of the following actions:
- Select a previously saved filter template.
- Select different processes (Only for the B section).
- Add and create new filter templates.
- For processes that does not include a filter template, IBM Process Mining automatically creates the templates, As-Is, and To-Be.
You can use the following steps to compare two different filter templates in the same or different process:

On the Compare page, select the processes and filter templates you want to compare, and then click Compare process.

The results of the comparison are displayed within the following sections:
- Process details
- Custom metrics statistics
- Case duration and count
- Activity duration
- Derived model
