Automatic flavors

With an IBM® Power® Virtualization Center extension, you can specify an automatic flavor when you create a virtual machine. Without a PowerVC extension, you can specify a preexisting flavor by using the flavorRef parameter. PowerVC also supports the flavorRef parameter. PowerVC uses the term compute template instead of flavor.

You can specify the automatic flavor by using the flavor parameter, as shown in this example:
