Updating a host's IP address

If you are using software-defined storage and a NovaLink host's IP address is changed, you must follow these steps to maintain proper connectivity.

1. If you are using software-defined storage on the host, follow the steps in this topic: Changing IP addresses and host names.
   Important: You must follow the instructions for the situation where all nodes in the cluster are affected and you stop the storage on all nodes.
2. From the PowerVC user interface, open the host's details page and click Update host.
