Register PBHA with Storwize

To register an SVC Storwize system in PowerVC, ensure that the prerequisites in SVC HyperSwap technology are met. After the prerequistes are met, you can enable PBHA on PowerVC If the storage is capable of supporting PBHA, the PowerVC storage details replication_type field displays pbha.

To enable PBHA on the registered SVC storage, follow the steps:
  1. Click on the storage details on PowerVC.
  2. Go to Actions > Enable PBHA under the storage details.
  3. Enter the same storage IP address and password, then click Find partitions and pools. The system displays a list of available partitions.
  4. Select the desired partition and the corresponding peer pool.
  5. Follow the further procedure available on the interface to complete the registration process.
