Creating an image from existing volumes

PowerVC images are backed by storage volumes. If you have one or more existing volumes that make up a PowerVC image (perhaps from another PowerVC installation using the same storage provider), follow these steps to create a PowerVC image backed by those volumes.

1. From the Images page, click Create.
2. Specify the requested information.
3. Add volumes to the image.
   Note: There must be at least one boot volume in the boot set, and all boot set members must be at the top of the list.
