Changing the logical memory block size
You may have to change the logical-memory block size on your hosts to prepare them for hot migration and other tasks in IBM® Power® Virtualization Center.
About this task
The system kernel uses the size of the memory block to read and write files. By default, the size of the logical-memory block is set to Automatic. This setting allows the system to set the logical-memory block size based on the physical memory that is available. You can also manually change the logical-memory block size. For PowerVC, the logical-memory block size should be the same on all of the hosts in your environment.
