Recall virtual machines to a host

PowerVC automatically recalls virtual machines that were moved during host maintenance mode or automated remote restart to the source host that has recall option enabled.

About this task

To recall virtual machines to the host, follow these steps:

1. On the host details page, set Recall enabled option to Yes.
2. Select whether you want to recall virtual machines to the host when the host becomes active or exits maintenance mode.
3. Click OK.

Results

If automatic recalling fails, you can manually set theRecall enabled option. PowerVC will reattempt to recall the virtual machines.
