PowerVC server connection was lost
Changes to the firewall can cause the connection problems with the IBM® Power® Virtualization Center server. Firewall changes can happen even when you do not make manual updates, such as when new software is installed or updated. If you lost the connection to the PowerVC server, follow these steps to investigate and solve the problem. This problem will mostly likely be noticed if the web browser cannot make a connection, but other network communication to the server will not work either.
PowerVC requires certain ports. Any changes to the firewall which block one or more of the required ports may cause PowerVC to stop functioning. Refer to Ports used by PowerVC for more information.
