Function 55: View and change platform system dump data

This function allows you to view and change the platform dump data. This function is available only in the manual operating mode.

When you select function 55 and press Enter, you can view and change the platform system dump collection policy, platform system dump hardware content, and platform system dump firmware content settings.

The following table shows an example of how to view the platform system dump data.

  • 01 = Set platform system dump collection policy to disable
  • 02 = Set platform system dump collection policy to enable
  • 03 = N/A - will always display FF in Line 1 when selected
  • 04 = Set platform system dump hardware content to maximum
  • 05 = Set platform system dump hardware content to automatic
  • 06 = N/A - will always display FF in Line 1 when selected
  • 07 = N/A - will always display FF in Line 1 when selected
  • 08 = Set platform system dump firmware content to automatic
  • 09 = Set platform system dump firmware content to maximum
  • 0A = Set platform system dump firmware content to physical I/O
  • 0B = Set platform system dump firmware content to virtual I/O
  • 0C = Set platform system dump firmware content to HPS cluster
  • 0D = Set platform system dump firmware content to Host Channel Adapter (HCA)
