(ASMI) through a Web browser, an ASCII console, or the Hardware Management Console (HMC).
Accessing the Advanced System Management Interface using a Web browser
You can connect a PC or notebook computer to the server
to access the Advanced System Management Interface (ASMI). The Web
interface to the ASMI is available during all phases of system operation
including the initial program load (IPL) and run time.
