Reference code log

Reference codes provide general diagnostic, troubleshooting, and debugging information.

You can view reference codes that are generated for the selected managed system. Reference codes are diagnostic aids that help you determine the source of a hardware or operating system problem.

To view the reference code history, complete the following steps:
  1. In the navigation area, click System resources, and then select Systems.

    OR

    In the navigation area, click System resources, and then select Partitions.

    OR

    In the navigation area, click System resources, and then select Virtual I/O servers.

  2. Click the resource for which you want to manage serviceability tasks and then click Reference code log in the menu pod.
  3. Select a specific reference code to view the details.
