Hardware Management Console driver information

You can view the current Hardware Management Console (HMC) machine code version and release information.

About this task

The machine code level on the HMC defines the available features, including concurrent server firmware maintenance and enhancements related to upgrading to a new release.

To view the existing HMC driver information on HMC version 10.2.1030 or later, complete the following steps:
  1. In the navigation area, click the Help icon.
  2. In the Help pane, click About HMCv10.

    The Power HMC window displays information about HMC version 10.

To view the HMC driver information for HMC version 10.3.1060 or later, complete the following steps:
  1. In the navigation area, click the Help icon.
  2. In the Help pane, click About HMCv11.

    The Power HMC window displays information about HMC version 11.
